Refuel17 a roaring success!

The first ever ‘Refuel’ Christian teaching holiday week, held in Gordon Castle, Morayshire, Scotland, has nearly finished and been proclaimed a resounding success by all!  Nearly 1,000 people attending the event, as on site campers, or day visitors, and the sense of joy, excitement and spiritual refreshment was palpable.  Guests had travelled from as far as the outer isles of Scotland, Orkney, N.Ireland and Northern England to be there. The Castle venue worked extremely well and there was a real sense of ‘family’ about the event.  Keynote speakers over the 7 days were, Rev Bruxy Cavey from the Meeting House church in Toronto, Canada, worship leader, Brian Doerksen, Dr Andy Bannister, Roy Godwin of Ffald-y-Brenin and Andy Hawthorn of the World Wide Message tribe.  The youth and children’s programmes were especially strong and loved by all who attended.  Craig Mackay, who had the original vision for such a week, and is the Filling Station’s Regional Consultant for Scotland, expressed his delight at what happened during the week and how God was clearly ‘all over the event!’  Everyone is now talking about the need for a Refuel18 week next year!
