Far North Filling Station – Thurso, Caithness

Filling Station meetings now stretch from Land’s End to John o’Groats with the opening of our latest meeting in the harbour at Thurso, Caithness.  A team from local churches are very excited that they can host a Filling Station meeting which will open on Friday January 29th 2016.  They are meeting in the popular ‘Cafe Tempest’ on the harbour front and are looking forward to welcoming guests from all across the far north.  The speaker for their first night will be the Rev David Malcolm, from St.Peter & St.Andrews Church in Thurso.
Several of the Thurso team travelled down to the Lossiemouth Filling Station some months ago to see how these renewal meetings work first hand.  They knew it would be a success in their part of the country. The Filling Station Trust is working with the team to establish and then grow this meeting.  Craig Mackay, Scottish Regional Director for the Filling Station sad this; ‘This is just the sort of place in Scotland that a Filling Station renewal and evangelism meeting will succeed in.  I am very excited we can help the team in Thurso with this venture!’
