Looking back and looking forward…

North-East Fife Filling Station had a great meeting last month. Being in the middle of the October holidays, we weren’t sure how busy we would be, especially as the roadworks round Auchtermuchty seemed determined to waylay travellers from the west(!),but it turned out that lots of our usual crowd still needed their “Filling Station Fix” and we were delighted to welcome them and some new friends too. Our lovely worship band, led by Jackie Biernat, was there and together we sang, some rousing, some quiet, but all inspirational, songs of praise and love. Iain Sutherland came from Dunfermline to talk to us and we were urged to consider, among many things, whether our lives were worth imitating, where the seeds of our faith had come from and where we in turn were sowing seeds in other people’s lives. A very thought-provoking talk.

Please come along our next event, which is on Tuesday November 10th, when we have one of the Filling Station leaders, Nick Crawley, coming up to talk to us. The barn at Lochiehead Farm, Auchtermuchty, KY14 7EH, will as usual be open to welcome you at 7.30pm, with coffee, tea and home baking, with worship beginning at 8pm. It will lovely to see you there and to share some fellowship, worship and a moment with God together.
