April Meeting
Nick Crawley, who has been involved with Filling Station meetings in the South West since 2012, was the speaker at our April meeting. The talk was focussed on what Jesus wants us to do – and particularly how we can turn to Him for direction and wisdom when it comes to being witnesses for Him in the Langport area. There is no doubt that it would be wonderful to develop the Christian ministry in this area and to proclaim God’s word to many people and as Nick reminded us, this is not always easy or straightforward, but God will give us everything we need to serve Him provided we both use our brains and turn to Him for everything we need to develop our faith and ability to witness.
Our next meeting is on Friday May 11th at Ridgway Hall and the speaker is Jilly Lyon-Taylor, who works with Ellel ministries based near Farnham in Surrey.
