On October 12th our speaker was Matt Merriam who has been much involved with Birchfield Church in Yeovil. He spoke on the topic of how to be people of change in the area where we live and worship. He shared the story of David and Goliath and how David was God’s man in the situation. He suggested that David could not fail because he had all the gifts he needed in the battle and Goliath didn’t stand a chance from the moment he came down the hill towards David! We too are God’s people all with different gifts and God puts us all in unique situations where He can best use us with the people around us to whom He wants us to minister.
