20th February Meeting – Richard Coombs

After degrees at Durham and Cambridge, Richard served two curacies; at Christchurch, Cockfosters in North London and St Helen’s, Bishopsgate in the City of London. In 1998 he became vicar of Burford and six surrounding villages. Over 20 years, God grew the church from 30 faithful and elderly saints to over 200 people of all ages and enabled a church plant into one of the villages.

Since November 2018 he has been Rector of Cheltenham (The Minster, St Matthews and St Luke’s). Richard is married to Nicola and they have three children who have left home and one still at school. Richard enjoys all country pursuits, walking, reading, theatre, films and music.
