March Meeting
Sadly Matthew Street, who was due to be our speaker, could not make it because he has had to have an operation on a bowel tumour and we are praying that everything will be fine for him soon.
One of our regular attenders, Julian Fisher, was our speaker and he focussed on forgiveness. He reminded us from God’s Word how God has wonderfully forgiven us through Jesus’ death on the cross provided we turn to Him for that salvation. However, he also reminded us from God’s Word that we must also be ready to forgive people who we feel are against us or behaving badly towards us and a number of wonderful verses from the Bible were referred to, including Colossians 3 verse 13: “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
