Richard’s Prayer Trek completed!

Richard Fothergill, founder of the Filling Station network, successfully completed his 245 mile prayer walk across South Wales and Southern England from the most Westerly point of Wales, to the most Easterly point of the UK on June 20th.  He picked up only one blister along the whole trip!  He prayed God’s blessing on the communities and individuals he met along the way, and linked up with 17 different Filling Station meetings en route.  Many of the FS host team members joined him for part of the prayer walk in their areas.  He said it was great to see the Filling Station all in such good heart, enjoying what they do each month, experiencing God’s presence in their gatherings and having an opportunity to worship Him and help their friends develop their own relationship of faith with Christ.  Richard also raised over £4,000 for the two charities he was being sponsored for – new Filling Station meetings, and ‘Hands at Work’, the African AIDS orphans charity we partner with.  Thanks to all of you who prayed for him and cheered him on over these last few weeks!
