For June we have Paul Springate as our guest speaker.
Now retired from formal ministry, Paul started his working life in industry, working for textile manufacturers where he was trained in the four areas of manufacture, finance, sales and administration, giving him a rounded understanding of life in general! He worked in the sales area for 13 years before, with the help of his local curate, he became a Christian. Involved in the local church he was starting to be used in service leading, preaching and administration leading to a call to ordained ministry. Ordained in 1983 he served his curacy in Plymouth, for 4 years; was a team Vicar in Leicestershire for 10 years before becoming the Warden at the Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing, which he led with his wife Bryony for 17 years before retiring.
He now continues to lead church weekends, teach courses on healing and ministers in the local churches, along with being the local Police Chaplain.

We are delighted to have Nigel Rawlinson as our speaker tonight. Nigel is on the Filling Station speakers list. He is married to Pat with 2 grown up daughters. Nigel was a Doctor (surgeon) first then Christian (age 30|- returned to faith of my upbringing), then called to renewal, then as a priest. Worked in self- supporting ministry (A&E, Hospice, Bristol Medical School) until 2016. Then University Chaplain, University of Bath. Work place experience, there are very few atheists when the “chips are down”. Foundation stones for renewal are Unity, Compassion and the power of prayer.
