Second Filling Station Mercy team visit S.Africa

The second group, drawn from several different Filling Station meetings, has just returned from an inspiring 2 weeks in Southern Africa.  Linking up with respected African charity, ‘Hands at Work’, ten individuals spent 10 days visiting some of the poorest citizens in rural Africa.  Hands at Work deal with AID’s orphans and poverty alleviation, focussing on groups that all the other development charities overlook.  Mrs Jo Fothergill has pioneered these team visits and the Filling Station network has a growing partnership with Hands at Work in White River, S.Africa.  More groups will be visiting in 2017.
