Strength in weakness

In September we had a powerful meeting with guest speaker Paul Francis from Glenwood in Cardiff. Powerful meeting? What exactly does that mean? In 2 Cor 12:10 the apostle Paul says, ‘When I am weak, then I am strong.’ Our speaker shared his own experience of brokenness and weakness, encouraging us all to be honest with ourselves, vulnerable with each other, and open to God, asking him to give us strength in our weakness. Others shared their own experience of brokenness, and the combined testimonies touched many people in a powerful way, leading to many receiving prayer, encouragement and strength. We give a huge ‘thank you’ to Paul for his willingness to be honest and vulnerable before us, and encouraging us to be the same with each other. We were all enriched and strengthened by the experience of God’s grace shared amongst us.
