A great start to 2019

It was wonderful to see so many of you at our first meeting of the year in the dark depths of early January. Lots of people said how much they enjoyed being led in worship by Chris White and his band, and I’m delighted to say that they will be leading us again next month.  We also heard from Andy Bevan of International Justice Mission speaking about God’s hatred of injustice and His compassion for those suffering injustice. For those who’d like to find out more about the amazing, courageous work of IJM, their website is: www.ijmuk.org

Next month, on February 12th, we’ll be welcoming Don Esson as our speaker. This is what he says about himself: ‘Don Esson is married to Margaret and dad to Grace.  He has been ministering in Scotland for around 12 years having been a youth pastor, national director of Youth for Assemblies of God.  He and his wife also spent 18 months leading a church planting team in Glasgow. He is currently the Regional Director for Compassion UK in Scotland and North England. He is passionate about individuals discovering the identity, worth and value that only Christ can supply
