Bardney Bridge over Witham is still closed and Diversions in place
We are looking forward to welcoming guests to our next Filling Station meeting in Bardney tomorrow night. Here is some important information on how to find us.
There are 3 main routes into Bardney:
Coming in from the East on the B1190 (Horncastle Road)
Coming in from the North on the B1202 (Wragby Road)
Coming in from the South on the B1190 (Bardney Causeway) crossing the River Witham at Bardney Bridge. The bridge is currently closed to vehicles so there is no access to traffic from this direction. If you will be coming in from the South please allow extra time for your journey to follow diverted routes.
The nearest bridges to cross the Witham are at Woodhall Spa or Lincoln.
Lincolnshire County Council have set up a diversion via Metheringham, Woodhall Spa, Stixwould and Bucknall on the B1191 then picking up the B1190 and coming into Bardney from the East.
An alternative route would be through Lincoln, coming out of Lincoln on Greetwell Road and coming through Greetwell, Cherry Willingham and Fiskerton, coming into Bardney from the North.
Hopefully, if all of the work stays to schedule, the bridge should be open in time for our July meeting but please watch this space for updates.
