‘Give thanks to the Lord for he is good! His love endures forever!’ Psalm 100.5
As we celebrate Christmas and the gift of God’s Son to humanity, we at the Filling Station Trust want to thank God for everything He has done – both in the profound consequences of Jesus’s life and death on the Cross, and in our immediate world of 2019. Over the last year we have seen a lot happen, for example, 12 new Filling Station meetings have opened up, making 104 in total, in as diverse places as the flat lands of rural Lincolnshire, the Spey Valley in the Highlands of Scotland and the inner city suburb of Battersea, London. This simple model of monthly celebration meetings seem to be increasingly popular, with over 5,500 people now attending one somewhere each month. We have heard of many people who have had their first ever encounter with the living God at Filling Station meetings. Next year we will see more opportunities for this to happen as the well known evangelist, J.John has agreed to speak at 8 Filling Station meetings across the UK. More details on that in 2020! We have heard of people’s lives being impacted by the power of God at Filling Stations and have seen healings taking place as well. Chronic conditions fixed, consistent pain relieved and damaged organs healed – for example, a lady with a debilitated right foot that was permanently numb, received healing last week at the Bulgarian Filling Station meeting in Sofia. Jesus said in John 14.12 ‘Whoever believe in me will do the works that I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these….’ This is our experience at the Filling Station. By the kindness of God, we see relationships restored, between people, and towards God Himself. There is SO much to thank the Lord for from 2019!
So this Christmas, can I and all the FS team wish you all a very happy and blessed Christmas!
